# 5-Minute Quickstart

The fastest path from install to protected storefront and checkout.

1. **Enable the app embed** — Online Store > Themes > Customize > App embeds > turn on *Fraud Guard*. See [Install & Enable the App Embed](/documentation/getting-started/install-and-enable-the-app-embed.md).
2. **Turn on bot protection** — go to **Settings**, enable *Block unknown bots* and *Block Tor / datacenter traffic*. This alone stops most automated abuse with zero configuration.
3. **Add one blocking rule** — go to **Blocking Rules**, pick a rule type (e.g. Country), add a value, and set the action to *Block* or *Redirect*. See [Blocking Rules](/documentation/core-concepts/blocking-rules.md).
4. **Add a Checkout Protection rule** (optional but recommended) — go to **Checkout Protection**, block by email, phone, or zip pattern. See [Checkout Protection](/documentation/core-concepts/checkout-protection.md).
5. **Save your Bypass Link** — go to **Settings**, copy your bypass URL and keep it handy so you can always reach your own store even while rules are active. See [Settings & Bypass Link](/documentation/guides/settings-and-bypass-link.md).

That's it — check the **Analytics** tab after some traffic comes in to see it working.
